PRESSEMELDING
13. Januar 2007 slipper CO3OLT (uttales kobolt) sin debutplate "Nine" og feirer dette med høyborgen av norsk kultur og mote.
CO3OLT (www.cobolt.no) vil derfor svært gjerne få invitere dere til en fantastisk helkveld:
Et Releaseparty, en motevisning óg en utstilling smeltes sammen i en smakfull symbiose på Parkteatret i Oslo, lørdag 13. januar.
CO3OLT
Startet i 2003 og har jobbet seg frem til platedebut på det norske
independent selskapet Duplicate Records (www.duplicate-records.com). Resultatet av arbeidet har blitt en plate de er umåtelig stolte av, og som de gleder seg til å presentere for dere.
CO3OLT frembringer myke rolige stemninger, og tar det videre til mer upbeat musikk, med elementer fra jazz til massiv rock. Norsk natur er et tema som går igjen i CO3OLTs musikk, med sanger som 'The Elephant Bends' , 'At The River' og 'Salthammer' ligger fjorder og fjell, åpne hav og rolige elver som en fargerik bakgrunn på lerretene som sangene er malt på.
CO3OLT består av Kim Berg (Keyboard, Backing vokal), André Nygård (Vokal), Jimmie Poots (Gitar).
Live er CO3OLT et 8 manns sterkt orkester med følgende talentfulle musikere: Ernst Notø (Gitar), Richard Poots (Trommer), Richard Berby kjent fra Pope og Johnny Poe (Trommer), Anniken Seglem Krogstad kjent fra Annikensk (Backing vokal) og Aleksander Haugen kjent fra The Captain & Me og Charlotte & the Co-Stars (Bass, kontrabass)
CO3OLT presenterer også premiérevisningen av sin musikkvideo "Sending Flowers" fotografert av Dag T. Korntorp og regissert av Øystein Karlsen, kjent fra 'Et Norge i Krig', 'De Syv Dødssynder' (premiére tv2 våren 2007). Øystein Karlsen sier også noen små ord om innspillingen og prosessen frem til ferdig resultat under parolen: Hvordan kombinere stormannsgalskap med lavt budsjett.
Han har sågar lovet å forsøke og unngå å være kjedelig mens han snakker.
Kvelden starter stilrent med en Fashion Showcase fra "Who Knew?!" design. (www.whoknew.no) Designer Ellen Knutsen står for visning av det det mest innovative, og hotteste innen ny og 3rd hand design. I tilegg til dette får du en imponerende dose visuelle inntrykk fra René M Hamel (www.spacebrain.no), som stiller ut sine unike og grotesk-pene skulpturer.
En Dj som kler arrangementet, skal følge dere hele kvelden og klokken 23:00 tar klubbscenen over og lar alle feste frem til en ny dag gryr.
